CHEN SHIMIN, Chinese Design Master since 1994, has been working at the forefront of architectural design for five decades. His |
innovation and distinctive achievements have been well recognized in both China and overseas. To further his success, Mr. Chen formed a specialized design practice called Chen Shimin Architects Ltd (refer to “CA”）in 1996. CA has the first class design license in China and has offices in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Sydney in Australia.
CA offers diverse design solutions to its domestic and international clients. The firm has conceived, designed and built large scale projects of town centers, shopping districts, corporate offices, commercial and public buildings, high-rise residential, and recreation facilities etc. CA’s core services include urban design and planning, preliminary feasibility studies to sketch design, design development and documentation, interior fits out, landscape design and planning, contract administration, project management, site supervision and architectural services related consultancy.
CA has over 80 staff and successfully designed more than 120 projects with a construction area of over 40,000,000sqm. CA has received more than 60 design awards and its projects are across all major cities in China.
CA’s mission is to apply Chinese and Western design philosophies and methodologies to create an architecture with a unique language and international standards of the highest quality, building efficiency and cost effectiveness, at the same time, to achieve contemporary characteristics with harmonization of Chinese culture and environment.
